There's nothing harder than getting started. I am surprised at how much more accurate creating a simple line on the touchpad is - than what I expected. And even when it results in mishaps, it does give a stronger connection to the real artist - in a way, it overcomes some of the artificiality of the digital medium.

That sounds strange. I think I have a prejudice against the digital medium. But I think I'm starting to get over it.

I don't like the way these look - the Pine Bluff picture is from memory and I like it best. The other 2 are digital derivations from episode screencaps. As such, they aren't so bad, but I want to work on the technique so they look more like natural art. I do think re-expressing the artwork through the digital medium does make a connection to the artist's feelings and creates a powerful, memory-like image. So, I guess I like them after all.
